Question Do you - April 15th 2013, 05:36 PM

Do you plan your binge or I'm the only one who tells myself that I broke the day eating a forbidden food so why not eat a lot because I already made this a bad day ? And then knowing that you will face the toilet again

I don't have bulimia but I do have anorexia and I used to find myself in similar situations. I would eat a cookie or something and then be so angry I'd think "Screw it, I'm just gonna eat a crap load today" and then I would either purge or swear up and down that I wouldn't eat the next day.

Although, those days are gone. I'm now in recovery and feeling a lot better.

You can do it Chin up, charge the mountain!

I do that, too. But I'm not bulimic. I usually go nearly all day without eating. But if I have something, I figure I'll probably have more so I might as well splurge.

Yes, I plan a binge. I will think about it for a day or two and then plan what I want to eat. Once I have all that down I will go out and buy the foods and have at it (for lack of a better word). However, there are times when I don't plan it as well. Sometimes I am just feeling low and I just look in the fridge and binge without really thinking about it and the rest is history. I think that planning your binge is normal for some people. I think there are times when it just builds and builds until finally you just have to do it (not sure if that makes sense).
