No urge to eat - August 26th 2013, 11:47 PM

This thread has been labeled as triggering, particularly on the subject of eating disorders, by the original poster or by a Moderator. The contents of this thread might therefore not be suitable for certain sensitive users. Please take this into consideration before continuing to read.

I never thought I would've fallen into this but I'm afraid I might have an ED, for I've been only having one meal which is my breakfast cereal. 'Cause most of the time I'm preoccupied, I have zero confidence about the way I look and my ribs are very visible. I skip meals intentionally to lose weight, and feel like I don't have the need to eat so often that I barely feel hungry. Right now I'm thinking about becoming a vegetarian, or blending all my nutritional needs into some drink. I want to do this but I don't -- I'm so confused, before all of this I could eat two dishes: but now I easily get stuffed that I can't even eat a whole dish. You know when you feel hungry that you feel a bit sick and no longer want to eat, right? I don't even get cravings. I've been so used to this I still don't eat as much even when I have nothing to do. Is anyone else having minor muscle spasms?

Ellison, you admit that what you're doing is unhealthy. You are also unhappy and not feeling well physically. You need to reach out for help. Very often in the midst of disorder, we feel like just a few more pounds, or a few more pants sizes, and then everything will be okay and that you'll be happy. It won't end. If nobody else will intervene, you need to. Talk to a school counselor, a doctor, your parent and get yourself help. It's not too late.
