It has to be one or the other... - September 16th 2013, 07:32 PM

I know this is probably a really stupid question that is encouraging me in a really bad way so please don't post hate if you don't have anything helpful to say. Thank you... I would like to know what are the opinions on wether its better to eat normally then puke or don't eat at all. It has o be one or the other because i simply can't cope any other way. Thanks in advance

Hey Ivy-nicole,

Unfortunately, we cannot answer your question in the way you want it specified. It is against the Code of Conduct, as specified here:
Quote:
TeenHelp encourages positive, safe, recovery-focused choices and will not tolerate advice that encourages harmful behaviour.
Any advice in the contrary will be removed by myself or the other moderator.

If you believe that you need to lose weight, see a doctor. They can give you healthy ways to lose weight, if your body needs to. There is no healthy disordered behavior, both restricting and purging are incredibly bad for your body, and neither of them are necessary for you to cope. There are many other ways to lose weight in a healthy manner if necessary, or to deal with body-image issues than to lose weight in an unhealthy matter.
