Angry ED and OCD - January 22nd 2014, 12:55 PM

My Eating Disorder and OCD has risen up exceededly high. I have so much concerns and worries that my portion limits has to be a certain size. I went to my therapist and she's just said its a phrase, something has triggered it.

God! It's so annoying!

Hey Dede,

I'd consider talking to your therapist about all of the issues you are having; don't feel discouraged by their comment, even if I feel that it was unnecessary of them. You know you're struggling, so don't be afraid to reach out about it. I'd recommend that if you're having any disordered urges to make sure you have a plan of action. For example, if you're thinking about restricting at a meal, make sure you eat with a friend so that they can hold you accountable. If you're thinking about purging after eating, watch some television, or do some homework. I can't give OCD advice as much, especially with no information about this behavior, but I'd continue working with your therapist. Stay strong, you can do this!
