Afraid of gaining weight - March 31st 2016, 12:55 PM

Hey guys, I'm scared. And then i mean really scared.
I recently (monday) noticed how much weight I had gained. Then I totally lost it. I started counting kcal and eating to little. I emailed my therapist about it and she just called. But no one can help me. I'm just so cared. Scared that I will continue gaining weight if I stop this obsession. The only one who can help me is me. But I just can't. It's just too scary.

I have this problem. On and off ever since my eating disorder.
Think about life in the big picture, you need to do what makes you happy. Don't think about the scale or anything or anybody. Treat yourself to some clothes that make you feel confident, and do your makeup and hair how you like it, as a confidence boost. Beauty isn't everything but it sure does make you feel really good.

Talk to a nutritionist about how to lose a little bit of weight if needed.
It may not be necessary because you are 18 and your body is supposed to be maturing!
However if it is, the nutritionist will feel you exactly what to do in order to lose or maintain a healthy weight.

Another point I'd like to make is that a 150 pound female who doesn't workout can look completely different from a 150 pound female who does workout. There are different aspects to weight loss, weight gain, and health overall. If you feel poor about your weight, try some intense workouts. They can make you feel really good and look really good!

The important thing to remember is you need to be happy in the big picture. Don't be afraid to talk to people and express exactly what you want and how you're feeling. Try not to over analyze anything(:
