I need food ideas for my meals while I am at school. I have to follow a certain meal plan. So I was hopping you can give me some ideas.

I was thinking about homemade cup of noodles for lunch but I don't know what else.

Morning Snack:1 Milk
2 starch
1 fruit
1 fat

Lunch
2 starch
3 once meat/protien
1 vegetable
2 fat
1 fruit

Afternoon snack:
2 starch
1 fruit
1 milk

Dinner

3 starch
3 once meat/protien
2 vegetables
2 fat
1 milk

Evening snack
1 Fruit
1 Starch
1 Fat
If you have any suggestions that would be great

Don't lose who you are, in the blur of the stars
Seeing is deceiving, dreaming is believing,
It's okay not to be okay
Sometimes it's hard, to follow your heart
Tears don't mean you're losing, everybody's bruising,
Just be true to who you are

What kind of foods do you like? I don't know your preferences, but I can list some of the foods I've included in my meal plan. I'm assuming you're being followed by some sort of professional knowledgeable about eating disorders, but just ignore anything I say about being allowed certain things or asking etc. if you're not.

If you're allowed to have other types of milks at this point in your treatment aside from dairy, I personally like to rotate between plain or vanilla soy/almond milk with breakfast.

Depending on what your team counts as starches (they might consider potatoes, peas, corn or lima beans as vegetables. I'd ask to check with them!), there's -
  • potatoes
  • peas
  • corn
  • lima beans
  • pasta
  • any kind of bread
  • tortillas
  • rice
  • oatmeal
  • barley
  • beans in general
  • granola (it's not an individual food, but is something I ate often for snacks)
I usually buy fruit depending on what's in season, but here are my go-to's -
  • apples
  • bananas
  • pineapple
  • oranges or clementines
  • grapes
  • strawberries
  • raspberries
  • blueberries
  • peaches
  • kiwi
Veggies are great, imo. You can buy them frozen or canned even when they're not in season and if they are you can buy them fresh!
  • tomatoes
  • onions
  • mushrooms
  • red, yellow, and green peppers
  • beets
  • carrots
  • broccoli
  • cauliflower
  • green beans
  • spinach
  • zucchini
  • squash
Proteins were typically -
  • chicken
  • eggs
  • beef
  • pork
  • fish
My program did not cater to vegetarians and vegans, so if you were interested in eating any vegetarian proteins such as tofu I would ask first.

Fats were typically butter, peanut butter, mayonnaise, and salad dressings if I remember correctly. Butter on toast. Peanut butter could go on toast or with a fruit (apple or banana). Mayonnaise on sandwiches. And dressing on salads. If you wanted I could send you some recipes I have for salads (or any other recipes) that include everything in your meal plan, since yours seems similar to mine.

When I'm in school I tend to stick to most of the foods above since they're simple and tend to be cheaper in the grocery store when bought individually instead of buying something pre-made if I can help it. I'll occasionally make food in bulk to last a few days or a week as well. Some foods can also be cooked and frozen until you need them and then thawed the day before you want to eat them (or defrosted in the microwave, honestly).

I hope that helped some.

There is nothing pretty about damage, about pain, about heartache.
What is beautiful is their strength, their resilience, their fortitude
as they display an ocean of courage when they pick through the
wreckage of their life to build something beautiful brand new,
against every odd that is stacked against them.” — Nikita Gill

Saudade thank you. Though it was for bullet proof. It is a wonderful suggestion that everyone could follow.
