Unhappy Back after a stay in hospital.... - January 20th 2009, 07:03 AM

ack.... I really screwed up. Dehydrated and put on a drip, not eating, collapsed after exercising too much and admitted to hospital a week ago. Treated for a kidney infection and other stuff that could have long term inplications. I have been told this is going to affect my fertility in the future. I'm a teen mum and having more children is the last thing on my mind right now, but I might change my mind in a few years and not have the option. I'm weak and my hair is falling out but I'm still struggling to stop myself from 'dieting' and exercising.
I just want people to realise that this kind of 'diet' is NOT a quick fix for dropping a lot of weight quickly then stopping. You may think you're in control in the beginning but believe me, the control soon switches hands and IT controls you. I just want people to be aware of the dangers.
It's good to be back.

Jess,

I'm sorry to hear that things aren't going good for you. I am glad that you want to tell people about how this isn't something that you can just stop on your own. It takes years, and i know a woman who is 60 and still has to waigh herself everyday because she still can't see who she trulely is in the mirror.

You are beautiful just the way you are.
Looking like a fallen star.
Don't listen to what people say.
They don't know the real you, anyways.
