have you considered asking someone for help? anyone at all. someone you know, or a counselor, a GP? if youve noticed that your health is deteriorating, its definitely time to tell a doctor. if you dont think you can say it out loud, try writing it on a piece of paper, and showing it to them. or leave it for a friend or family member to find.

a good thing is that you know youre ill; which means you dont WANT to be ill (right?). wanting to get better will make it easier, because youre doing it for yourself.

but the most important thing is that you tell someone, please?

Hii Lucy.
(I've always liked that name, it's local slang for a nice girl, pretty, clever and loveable...flattering, huh?)
Anyway back to subject.
Well done for reaching out, it is hard, and your courage shows (:
The most important thing is for you to get some professional help, because that is the best way to fight back an ED.
However, there are very VERY good people on this site, who are wonderful to talk to, who always have an open PM box and a large box of tissues just waiting.
Do not let this Ed make you feel isolated, do not lot it make you feel alone. You are not alone, you are an individual, but you are not the only one, there are others in the same position as you, and an ED only wins by making you stand alone.
Also, do not deny your feelings. If you feel like you want to cry -- then cry. If you wish to laugh -- do so. Do not bottle it up, because that leaves you denying yourself, which is painful.

Always around if you want me!

Everyone knows I am ill. My GP is a crap one, he says "it'll go away in a few days" - the symptoms, which I've told him about the eating disorder. I see an eating disorder specialist - she is of no help, very unreliable, untrustworthy, also lies to me a lot, so I am going to see if someone I see at a clinic can refer me to someone who can help. *sighs* It's just tough.

And yes, being physically ill does scare me, but it doesn't neccersarilly shock me into wanting to get better.

I know this might sound very, very scary, but have you considered going to a residential program? It sounds like you have had bad luck with doctors, and I know how discouraging that can be.

When you're ill and know it, and have been sick for so long, sometimes outside help is needed. I really, really suggest looking for treatment centers near you. There you'd find proper support and care, both medically and psychologically.

If you want help looking for treatment programs, even outpatient ones, I'd be happy to help.

The best way to find out is to look for programs and call them.

I hate that you have to be "REALLY sick" to be considered for IP. I think you do need outside help, and if you want me to, i can look up treatment centers near you. Just let me know.

You are beautiful just the way you are.
Looking like a fallen star.
Don't listen to what people say.
They don't know the real you, anyways.
