Hey there,

You are not pathetic. Binging is a coping mechanism, a way of dealing with things, and yes, it's unhealthy, but there are ways to deal with it, ways to handle it. When I feel like binging, I go for a walk, or I go hang out with a friend. i distract myself, using alternatives and just keeping busy. I also chew gum a lot, as it helps keep my mouth busy so that I won't want to randomly binge. You could try that, to try and gain control over the binging. Alternatives are not just for self harm, they can help you deal with anything, and they can replace an unhealthy coping mechanism. The link is here.

That said, you still need to eat, three to six meals a day. Try eating healthy, fruits and veggies, water and juice. Exercising and eating healthy will keep you from gaining weight, and it will help you feel more in control. You just need to find another way to let everything out when something bad happens, you could try writing out what happened, writing it down gets it out and helps you to feel better.

Just hang in there, and if you need anything, feel free to pm me.
