Question (maybe trig)How long after? - April 28th 2010, 12:59 PM

Just curious... I long after eating until you can't purge? I had breakfast, and I normally don't purge any longer then 30 minutes after... Is that to long to wait? Is it possible to purge after that long? Is it worth purging after 30minutes, I mean, most of the crap has been absorbed by my body(clories) so is there really a point in purging after that?

Most of the calories will have been absorbed by your body within the first hour of consumption, but I'm not too sure. Sorry. x

We aren't allowed to give hints/tips towards Eating Disorders.
In my opinion, telling you when and when you cannot purge is triggering and against the rules.
BUT; I will say the obvious. Puking after eating comes with a list of negative affects and consequences, if you're looking for websites to help you quit purging - Let me know and I will find you some (:

You will come to realize that what appears today to be a sacrafice will prove instead to be the greatest investment you ever made.

I didn't think this was asking for advice ,just a question. But alright.

I know it's bad and I shouldn't be, but it's beyond that now. I was just asking... Not wanting another lecture, get those enough. thanks though, not mad!

Hey Alice--I can tell that you were just curious, but the dilemma is that by answering your question, it would essentially be helping to advise you on engaging in your ED, you know? Plus, I don't think anyone really knows the answer--you'd need to talk to a doctor about that. So, I'm going to go ahead and close this post--let me know if you want it re-opened or have any questions. Take good care of yourself!
