Frustration. - August 5th 2010, 03:58 AM

So you may or may not know. I was in ICU for 9 days. I blacked out and an ambulance was called. I was on a feeding tube for majority of the time. I was really underweight. I am now at the right weight. I still need to gain more weight but i am doing a lot better then i was before. It gets hard to a lot when i am stressed (which i have family issues and i also have a court date i am needing to go because i got harassed by my ex best friend).

So i was just wondering if anyone had any tips for eating proper because i don't want to loose the weight. I had a hard time gaining the weight. I'm really frustrated and scared because i do not want to end up back there. It's really hard eating during the day because i seem to only get REALLY hungry at night time. As of now i don't have an actual ED. I know in the back of my mind that i need to gain a bit more weight. I'm self conscious but more about my looks.

Advice, tips, support is welcomed.

You are so strong. You can do this. Just try to remind yourself to eat through out the day, I know it's hard, but just keep trying. Hang in there, and I'm here if you need anything.

You can do it, Angelina! It might help to kind of write out what you need to eat, and when. Then, all you need to do is look at it and check things off like a check-list. A few people I know used to make sticker charts--they'd give themselves a sticker each time they ate something they needed to, and after a set amount of stickers, they rewarded themselves with a DVD or CD or something

The world ain't all sunshine and rainbows.
It is a very mean and nasty place and it will beat you to your knees and keep you there permanently if you let it.
You, me, or nobody is gonna hit as hard as life. But it ain't how hard you hit; it's about how hard you can get hit, and keep moving forward.
How much you can take, and keep moving forward.
