Exclamation going out to eat - September 14th 2010, 08:18 PM

So I was accepted into the Women's chorus at my college. It's a pretty big deal that I got in, and I'm SO excited. I can't wait to hang out, sing, and meet new people. The only problem is that tomorrow we're going out to eat at this hamburger place. I don't know what I'm going to do! EVerything is huge or fried. Even if I tried to force myself I don't think I could get anything down b/c I haven't eaten a real meal in about 3 weeks. I just don't know what to do. I don't want to raise suspicion, and I really do want to go. I'm just so nervous

First off breathe try to calm down
if there is someone you feel you could possibly confide in like a potential friend then dont be afraid to do so !!!

If not ,then try bringing with you some small reminders in your purse that you can look at like a notecard with words on it that remind you to breathe an that you can make it etc an then look at the note cards beforehand an if it gets to be way overwhelming excuse yourself to the bathroom an take a few deep breathes and look at your notecards!

And you could always ask for ethier a appetizer or small version of the meal like small burger an a med fry etcc

Hope this helps
