I need help. - September 23rd 2010, 06:28 PM

Help? Strategies, either one would do.
Not to long ago i was in the hospital and i got back up to the proper weight. Now i know i have lost it again. Obviously it IS easier being fed through i tube and doing it that way, so i understand why i have lost it again. I'm never hungry though, until night. I just want to keep myself healthy i guess. I've been having more headaches lately. Ones that are so bad i end up crying, and also the dizzy spills. I am doing my best- but i feel like its not good enough!
How do i keep up with my eating?

Hey, I definitely have experience in this area. I know what you're going through and how hard it can all be. Are you seeing a counselor? A nutritionist? When I had an ED, I had a counselor and a nutritionist. The nutritionist gave me ideas and support to help keep my eating in check. If you aren't really comfortable with doing that, maybe you could try eating small amounts working your way back up. If you fuel your body with even a little of nutrition, your body will respond in such a way that it will start working properly again. You might not feel hungry now, but trust me, your body is hungry. Once you start slow, your body will start feeling better, and start working how it should.

Hope I helped.
PM me if you would like
