So im 19 and underweight, [Edited]. People say I look extremely thin, but when I look in the mirror I dont see it, to me I look normal. Anyway, I don't have an appetite, I don't feel hungry and I eat in small portions. Its not I dont want to eat, I just dont feel like eating.
Is it possible that Im Anorexic and subconsciously don't want to eat?

Re: Do I have anorexia? -

It is very possible that you have anorexia. In fact, it is likely that you do. However, we aren't doctors here, so I suggest you consult a doctor.
In the mean time, you being underweight is obviously unhealthy. You think you aren't hungry, but you more than likely are. When I had an eating disorder, I was able to subconsciously trick my body into thinking it wasn't hungry, when in actuality it was. It is normal to look in the mirror and not see what others do. An outsider looking in is generally correct. When you are involved in something as this, you can lose control over your thoughts, and behavior. However, you are going to feel as though you have control over your food intake. Your best bet is to seek counseling or therapy. They can help come up with a plan to get your eating back on track. You also should ask yourself if you feel like you have a problem. This is a good test to see if you are in denial about the problem at hand or not. I hope this helps. <3 ![]() I was looking for a breath of life For a little touch of heavenly light But all the choirs in my head say, no oh oh |
