Hello, well I have struggled with eating disorder's since the age of 9, becoming strongest at 12-13. I've recentley been trying to recover, (therapy, counselor's, diet plan, etc.) but when I try to eat, even something small and light, I have excruciating stomach pains. They're really bad, like to the point where I cannot even move. And if I force myself to eat my body rejects the food and throws up. Does anyone know of any ways to deal with the stomach pains or help get rid of them?

Maybe she could suggest something for you?

I mentioned it to her but there was not much she could do for me, or atleast she didn't do much. It just sucks to be trying so hard to force myself to eat and then getting sick when I do -__-

Therapists aren't for diagnosis of anything other then a mental problem. I highly recommend seeing a doctor as that is not normal.

My health teacher talked to us about this the other day. I am not sure if you ever struggled with bulimia, but once your body gets used to throwing up everything it eats, it cant even hold down food anymore. Some people go through "food therapy" eating tiny bits of certain things until they build up their digestive system enough to digest food regularly again.
It sounds like this is what you are going through, but I'm no doctor. It sounds like you need one though. Maybe a visit to your primary physician will give you some answers? Or a diet specialist? |
