i think.... -
February 3rd 2011, 02:57 AM
I think that I'm becoming anorexic. I don't think that I'm fat because I'm not, but I just don't feel like eating so I don't. Its like everytime I'm around food or go to eat something I just can't eat it because I'm either not hungry or I feel like if I eat ill throw up. Its been going on for about two months. I've lost [edited] pounds and I like that I lost that eventhough I'm underweight now and shouldn't have lost it. Everyday I barely eat anything. Even if I am hungry, which isn't often, I don't eat. Each day I have like 2 bites of a sanwhich, a spoonful of cereal, and a little applesauce or yougurt or something and really nothing else. Does it sound like I have an eating disorder? I'm not trying to lose weight, but I like that I am and I don't know why because I know that this isn't healthy.

Hey there, sorry for the late reply. I meant to get to this when I initially read it.
Whether you have an ED or not, can be determined by your doctor. However, based on my own experiences, and online research, ED's are associated with feelings, depression, etc. They are a way of coping with something that we can't figure how to control in healthy ways. It sounds like you are just having a problem with eating. it sounds like you want to be able to eat, but you aren't hungry, or feel sick after eating. This can be fore lot's of reasons. I did some quick online research for you. http://www.buzzle.com/articles/loss-...te-causes.html According to this website, your lack of appetite could be do to stress, depression, certains meds, and even diseases. I think that it would be good for you to go to your doctor. They can help get down to the bottom of the problem for you, and even take necessary actions in order to help you get your appetite back. There can be many reasons why you aren't hungry, which makes it very important that you consult a doctor. Your body needs nutrition in order to survive, and function properly. Hope this helped! PM me if you ever need anything
