Hey everyone,
So last night I told my friend about my EDNOS, SH, and OCD. She hadn't realized it at first but everything fit together and she could totally understand that I really do have an ED and don't just want attention. I thought she would freak out but she was super supportive. She promised to eat lunch with me the first day of school and every day after, if we have the same lunch. I was scared crazy and anxious as anything before telling her but she took it so nicely. Just wanted to share because I have wanted to tell a friend for over eight months now and I finally got the nerve to do it now. That's so great! I remember when I first told a friend of mine, I was so scared but she accepted it and then has supported me the entire way through my recovery. I wish you and her both great luck and congratz on such a big step.
