I do not believe I have/have had an eating disorder. But when I've gotten really depressed about my weight, I get this idea that throwing up is a good idea. This has not helped the fact that I have Acid Reflux. And sometimes I partially throw up after eating, even if i don't want to. So, what are some good alternatives to throwing up? Or even some good diet ideas?? Thanx!
If you do not hope, you will not find what is beyond your hopes.

Hey there,
The best way to lose weight is to go to a doctor and ask for a diet plan. He can also help you set a healthy goal weight. Alternatively, you can do the same thing with your parents. If you eat healthily, tell yourself that you don't need to throw up because you've eaten good food. Try to stay away from any foods that make you want to throw up. If this means you are then avoiding most foods, there is definitely a problem. Talk to someone! A parent or a guidance counselor or a friend. You don't need to struggle on your own. I hope I helped a bit. x |

Hi there!
I'm sorry to hear that you're going through a tough time. What I would suggest is definitely consulting a nutritionist. They help recommend food that is particualarly required for your body's nourishment and health. If you have an acid reflux, have a little bit of soda water, or 7up. It helps release the gas build up in your stomach. If you're really particular about your weight, and such, as an immediate remedy, cut down on things like cookies, biscuits, cakes, juices even. Get more veggies into your diet along with your protein. I'd suggest the addition of carbs in your diet. Yes, it is essential that everyone eats carbs. It is the main source of energy for your body. Add a little bit of fat to your diet, thinkgs like cheese and oil in your salads and such is good. Don't have fried foods or fast foods. Try to eat home cooked meals - you can munch on fruits and veggies like celery and such if you feel hungry. Drink a good amount of water to keep your system clean and functioning. I've said this to almost everyone who has asked me, but you need to drink enough water so that your pee is clear, like water. If it isn't, then it means that your body is not getting enough water. Whatever the case, I do suggest consulting a nutritionist. This is only an immediate diet plan. I know not what your diet normally contains, so I can't pinpoint anything particularly for you. This is just a rough chart to act as a guidlone for you. ![]() Hope you feel better!
