We aren't allowed to put numbers of weights on TeenHelp, although I believe I can provide a link to an external source that has some good info. c:

Here's the thing, those online calculators are totally and incredibly wrong. All they do is take into account height vs weight, when in reality there are so many other factors to contribute. Bone density, muscle mass, much more. Your best bet would be to go to the doctor and get them to figure it out correctly, taking into account all of the factors to tell you whether you're in the correct weight percentage. You could take one of those online calculators, they'll tell you that you're borderline obese, when in reality perhaps you're just ripped with muscles! (This is probably an exaggeration, but still)
Besides, today's society of what skinny really is, it's practically pointless to even try conforming to what it states for you. If you want to be healthy, that's awesome. But don't change your body or habits just to be skinny because of today's society. It's usually incredibly unhealthy for you, and a lot of times you'll end up gaining more weight and loosing more muscle. ![]() Take me seriously. I dare you. |

Like others have said, we're not allowed to put weight numbers on TH.
To lose weight, you should consider doing it the healthy way. Eat healthy, and exercise. All in moderation. Another good thing that you can do is get a nutritionist, and have them put you on a diet that works for your height, weight, muscle mass, BMI, etc. They can put you on a diet that is healthy for you, and can ensure you maintain or get to a healthy weight. Which, health is what you should aim for. But really, if you're just genuinely curious as to what's a good weight for a 5'2 girl who wants to be thin, you can call and doctor and ask. Another thing I feel would be beneficial to you, would be to check A Guide To Healthy Eating. For now, I'm going to go ahead and close this. We aren't doctors, so we can't tell you what weight you should be. And we can't post weight numbers on here. Any who disagree, feel free to PM me, and I'd be more than happy to discuss my decision. ![]()
