Hey there,
I'm so proud of you for going to a therapist! This was such a brave thing to do. I know it must have been so scary for you, but from here, things will get much better!Unfortunately, there is no "cure". Recovery from anorexia, like any addiction, is a process. You have to be willing to take the steps needed. But your therapy, your friends and family, along with this website, can act as a great support system when you are down, and help you give the courage to keep going. Stay honest with yourself, and be prepared to make mistakes. But I know you can do it. You are welcome to talk to me at any time! Message me anytime you need.

Hey there,
It's really awesome that you've talked to a therapist and got a diagnosis. I know it doesn't feel/seem good right now, but a diagnosis will help you recover quicker, as you'll no know how to handle it and to get better. As Traci said, cure for Eating Disorder is non-existent. Recovery is more of what you should aim for. You now having a counselor now, they can give you ways to cope with your eating disorder and how to recover from it. My best advice to you is to follow the advice your counselor gives. To the best you can. A therapist knows what they're talking about. They know the things to say and do. It's beneficial that you put effort towards recovery. It's going to get hard. but you have to keep fighting. As hard as you can. It's going to take time, but don't give up.
