To start off, I hate the way I look. I have stretch marks everywhere and a lot of my clothes don't fit. Even though I am the size I am, I can't seem to put down the food. Whenever the opportunity arises, I overeat and then feel really sick. I've tried exercising and eating healthy but I keep getting bigger. Any advice? I've tried talking with my parents about it but they have the same problem.

I used to have a similar problem and I am still trying to battle my overeating. Think about it, why do you think you are overeating? There could be some underlying reason. Sure it could be because you are just hungry, but think about other times. Are you eating because you are bored? The food tastes good? Or even because you are sad/upset? I overate for a combination of those reasons above! I would tell myself (and still do occasionally) "It's alright, I am already fat. Eating a little more won't hurt." Later, I found myself feeling even more depressed about my body because of my decision.
I feel like so many girls are absolutely gorgeous regardless of what their bodies look like (even if that sounds cliché) but I can understand how health can become an issue. This may sound lame but whenever I feel tempted to overeat, I imagine myself being tested between good and evil and that it is up to me to chose which side I will take :P. Little mind games like that seem to assist me. I also encourage my mother to buy lots of gum in many flavors so when I do feel hungry, I chew it and wait for all the flavor to run out (long lasting is your best bet for this to be successful). I also only drink water now. It helped me cut down on so many calories so that now I don't even miss fruit juices and soda! Another thing that I don't do but heard is keeping a picture of your current body that is making you unhappy in the kitchen. I'm sure that can decrease your appetite as well. Something to ask yourself when you feel "hungry" is to ask youself if you are hungry enough to eat a fruit or vegetable. If the answer is no, then you are probably not as hungry as you think. If yes, then grab a fruit or vegetable! Finally saying no when being offered more food is a good idea. This is especially important during dinners like Thanksgiving when I personally feel like I eat more so that I can show that I appreciate the food. It is your job to look out for yourself, so even though it pains you to say no to that 3rd slice of pizza, you will thank yourself in the long run! I feel like I rambled on long enough. I honestly hoped this helped you even a bit .
stay strong.

It tastes good and I eat when I'm stressed (which has been a lot lately). I have been eating less and mostly healthy foods. Staying away from saturated and trans fats, limiting polyunsaturated fats, and keeping the carbs low. More and more stretch marks appear everyday and I just feel so ugly and fat..
