Just wanted to stop by and leave you some encouragement, Blair. I know this seems like a huge setback right now, but it sounds like you could really benefit by going to residential. I don't think that means that your friends or family don't love you or aren't proud of you; if anything, I think it shows that they DO love you and ARE proud of you and want to see you continue to recover--perhaps, though, they're hoping to see you want to recover for YOURSELF, rather than for everyone else, you know?
Keep with it, okay? You've been doing really well, and I hope that things turn up.

Hun,
I understand what you're going through. I get how hard recovery can be. And honestly, set backs are going to come. But I like to think of it as a test of your strength. If you're family isn't proud of you, then so be it. While it would make recovery easier to have the support of your parents, you also don't need it. You recover for you. Don't let this hold you back. Please take in all the help you can get. Continue to follow your meal plan. Continue to do the things that you've been doing (healthy wise). And when you feel like under-eating, try eating something that's healthy and that will give you nutrition. I know it's hard, but this a journey. And while it may seem hard right now, you're going to get through this. Alive. I know you are. Please take care of yourself. ![]() I was looking for a breath of life For a little touch of heavenly light But all the choirs in my head say, no oh oh |

Because you have a more updated thread (right here) talking about the same issue, I'm going to close this thread. Feel free to message me if you disagree, and I can reopen this one, it's no biggie!
Stay strong! -Traci |
