So lately, i have been eating but as soon as i eat i go and make myself vomit it all back up. Im scared to see my weight on the scales, and im only eating 2 times a day.
My family is really angry at me, and they always tell me im a failure of a daughter. I have almost stopped eating and im getting really skinny. My family said im going to die, well at least it will be a skinny corpse. Do i need help? Please help me, or tell me what i can do to save myself Love is not a victory march, its a cold and broken Hallelujah Everything happens for a reason, even if we may never know what that reason is ![]() |

This can be labelled as bulimia, if you ask me. Please stop doing that. According to some sources such actions (throwing up after eating) can cause-
-Anemia -Tooth Decay -Absence of period -Abnormal heart rhythm -Constipation -Bloating -Low Potassium -Dehydration -Stomach and Esophagus ruptures -Decreased Libido -Swelling of salivary glands -Abnormal build-up of fluids in the intestines -Electrolyte imbalance I don't think looking skinny is so important, is it? All the best and take care. xx |

While the poster above me made some great points, we aren't doctors. Thus, we can't diagnose you. but I do think you have a problem. A lot the Eating Disorders stem from deeper issues, such as issues with family, or trying to cope with something bigger than what they know how to handle. It's okay to feel the way you do. But hopefully we can help you find better coping mechanisms and encourage you to get the help that you need.
First, I want to bring up your parents. What they say to you really isn't okay. Have you tried talking to them about their behavior? When they're in a better mood, I would try and talk to them. Tell them how much their words affect you. Tell them in what ways they affect you as well. And telling them may not make a difference, but you have to try. You have to put the effort into getting better. The reason why you throw up is probably to cope with the way your parents treat you. Which, isn't okay. So try and talk to them. Have a real honest conversation with them. Be an adult. And if they choose to continue with their actions, we'll find a way around that as well. Secondly, you need professional help and some support. Is there anyone in your life who is there for you? Friends? Teachers? Family members? etc. It's hard enough having to go through what you're going through, but it's even harder to go through it alone. And truth be told.. you don't have to go through this alone. You deserve the help and support. Because things are a lot easier to deal with when you've got a helping hand. I think you would benefit from talking to a guidance counselor at school. It's hard to open up, but it does help. And it's necessary towards recovery. Also, a guidance counselor can help you learn to communicate with your parents better. Lastly, how unhealthy making yourself can be. I was bulimic a few years back. And so many health risks are associated. Basically what was listed by the poster above. Making yourself sick is just another form of self harm. It's not cutting, it's not over dosing, it's not burning, etc. But it's still Self harm. And a way of coping. When you're feeling triggered to purge, try doing something to distract yourself. While distracting yourself from harming yourself is good, it won't solve your problems. You have to deal with the internal issues at hand. I really encourage counseling. Take care<3 ![]() I was looking for a breath of life For a little touch of heavenly light But all the choirs in my head say, no oh oh |
