Unhappy so confused - May 2nd 2012, 03:36 PM

ive been so confused lately. based off all the precautions me and my bf take there is a very slim chance that i could be pregnant. but for the past months i have been nauseous (but its slowly getting better) and sleepy all the time and exhibiting a few other early pregnancy symptoms i took a test a month ago and it was negative but now i had to go to the doctor to figure out whats wrong and the first thing they asked was if i was pregnant. i am so confused on what else could cause all the symptoms without me being pregnant sorry i just wanted to rant and i know most of you wont know what to say i am just going nuts waiting for a ton of test results they may or may not tell me whats wrong

First off, take another test asap and see what it says.

Once you know the result, you can go from there. You're right in thinking your symptoms can be caused by other illnesses, but you need to rule out possibly pregnancy first. *hugs*

Here for you

Michy.

Unfortunately, pregnancy symptoms are similar to those of several illnesses. One happens to be the flu. Also, vertigo can make you feel dizzy, nauseous, fatigued, etc.

A urinary tract infection can cause you to have to pee a lot, it can cause lower back pain, it can cause you to feel nauseous, and all of this makes you feel tired.

Your upcoming period can cause you to feel several of these symptoms as well.

I am assuming your doctor did a pregnancy test? Most doctors would if they ask if you might be pregnant. If so, then they should have told you the results while you were in the office.
