Weird dizzy spells - May 12th 2012, 07:19 AM

So I usually start to get dizzy either when I am walking around or standing in place. Like all of a sudden I feel really lightheaded like I might fall. Some people are saying its low blood pressure or I might be dehydrated. One person said it might be irregualar heartbeat. I don't have money to go see a doctor but should I go see one or wait for a week or so to see if it continues this started on the 6

Yourself.

Iím catching stars in the sky because I am fixing the soul within me. May it be from the heart a girl broke years ago or my soul simply repairing itself as it was shattered on my walk on this earth. May the stardust fill those cracks within my soul making me brand new, but never forgetting who I once was.

Definitely see your doctor. The things people have mentioned are all possibilities, and the only way to get it checked and treated properly is to be assessed by a physician.
If this started on the 6th then it's already been going on for a little while, so I wouldn't delay any longer. With things like this, often the sooner you get them seen to, the easier they are to treat.

Keep us posted.

All of the conditions you mentioned can and often do lead to dizziness, so it's impossible for us to say exactly what it is. I'll toss in another possibility: acute otitis media, which in English is a sudden, often bacterial middle ear infection. The sense of balance is regulated within your inner ear through the vestibular system. Middle ear infections are more common due to the Eustachian tube. Any disruptions can affect transmission to the inner ear, which is well-protected from most bacterial and viral infections.

It's very easy for a doctor to diagnose, they'll use an otoscope and give medications that should take care of the dizziness or vertigo (not the U2 song) in 2 weeks or less.

It's quite easy for you to check whether you're dehydrated. If you're drinking plenty of fluids, eventually is has to exit somewhere but if it isn't, then you've got a problem on your hands. I assume you are eating sufficiently large meals with enough nutrition and liquids, otherwise your diet can also be cause for concern.

I can rip you off, and steal all your cash, suckerpunch you in the face, stand back and laugh. Leave you stranded as fast as a heart-attack.
