Cut in my mouth >___< - May 21st 2012, 05:16 PM

I have a cut inside my mouth. I grind my teeth a lot when I sleep so I think that's the reason.

When I eat I sometimes bite against the cut inside my cheek >___< It REALLY hurts What could help?

Hey.

The best thing that worked for me is rinsing my mouth with a mixture of warm water and salt. It cleans the cut which apresar up healing, the salt also works in drying up the cut another essential for a cut to heal. Like cleaning any cut it may sting a bit, but that means the cut is being cleaned. There are medicine you can purchase that may not sting as much but the salt and warm water mixuture is extremly cheap and might even heal it faster..

Good luck

Orajel. Small tub costs 5 though. Available over-counter. It's usually for toothache, but works for any sort of oral pain.

And a seemingly irrelevant question... do you drink a lot of coke? That can make your teeth grind a lot. A lot of intensely sugary drinks can do that, especially carbonated ones for some reason.

The salt thing... I can't comment on. When I was younger, I'd accidentally bite bits off the inside of my mouth when eating, and I'd shove my mouth full of salty chips because I took the phrase "no pain no gain" too literally. It made the injuries worse lol, but I don't think I was doing it right.

Then politics doesn't care about you either. Truth. You've got to make your voice heard, if you want to be listened to. But that's too logical for some people, so let me go a step further. Not making your voice heard, leaves other people free to hijack it by speaking on your behalf, even if they don't actually give a shit about you. That's politics. So, make your voice heard. That's not a quote from anywhere. That's just me.
