Unhappy wisdom teeth? - May 28th 2012, 11:52 AM

Heeey!

Alright, so here goes.

We haven't had coverage for dental and such for like 4 years due to reasons.. Anyways!

A week ago I woke up, and noticed pain. It was coming from the right bottom side, in the back of my mouth, where you would find your wisdom tooth I think.

I checked it out with my tounge and it felt like a canker sore right where the tooth should be(I still have all my wisdom teeth, only 3 have come out, this is the only one that hasn't yet)

Anyways, I knew we didn't have coverage, so I ignored it..

It has gone down, it doesn't feel as big, but it does cause me pain when my cheek touches it, when eating, etc. It's not like OMG pain, but it's annoyiong

Anyone have any idea what it could be? It feels like a little ball, it's weird.

Thanks <3

Normally people have their wisdom teeth removed because there isn't sufficient room in the mouth to comfortably allow the additional teeth. If 3 have come out and you've been more or less fine, then that's great, it saves you a hassle of getting them pulled out. The pain tends to feel like a horrible earache and if you touch your finger to your face, it feels as though it's right where your jaw connects. If the swelling goes down by itself then it's not a wisdom tooth, it's a swollen area of your gums.

I can rip you off, and steal all your cash, suckerpunch you in the face, stand back and laugh. Leave you stranded as fast as a heart-attack.
