Exclamation Need to lose weight fast ??? - June 18th 2012, 09:24 AM

I'm like 5 foot 6 inches tall , I'm 15 years about 6 months old . I'm in grade 10 at school . and i weight about [EDIT] . I want to lose [EDIT] in a month ... I'm restricting my diet so i only eat dinner and not lunch or breakfast and no snacks whatsoever . i try to burn at least [EDIT]calories a day but i need to know what exercises / activities burn the most calories ?. please help ?

Firstly, weight numbers aren't allowed, for future reference as some find them triggering. But since I've seen it, I'm telling you now, you are fine!
I'm taller than you and weigh less - which in my own judgement of my body is extremely unhealthy; just like what you propose to do. You are probably going to get taller soon, and you will begin to thin out. But skipping Breakfast and Lunch is not the answer. Breakfast is the most important meal of the day and in some countries (Germany at least) Lunch is second to none. You don't have to skip meals, just eat smaller portions if you really need to.
As for exercise, just do 30 minutes a day and you will be living a healthy lifestyle. There is nothing wrong about your weight, your not over or anything - it's actually pretty normal what you are at now. And besides that, muscle weighs more than fat anyway - so judging by the amount of sport you seem to do, you are a very fit and healthy girl.
Please don't go down this mindset, it's wrong; you're fine.

Hey there,

Skipping meals is really bad for you and can lead to quite bad eating disorders if you're not careful. It shouldn't matter what you weigh or how tall you are or anything, you should be happy the way you are.

If you really want to lose weight, I'm not saying you do as I'm gonna agree with Mitch and say you're fine, but if you really do you should eat breakfast for definite because you need to get your digestive system going, have a small lunch and dinner if you must but please don't skip meals And yeah, exercise 30 minutes a day, maybe go on a walk or run, if you have a dog take it with you, it makes it more fun

I agree with the others. You could also just try to eat healthier. Instead of eating junk food, eat something that's good for you.
