irregular periods - July 2nd 2012, 02:46 AM

my friend says her period has been irregular about 3 or 4 times now, but before it would be brown for a week or 2 before it atually got heavy, then it went away, but now this time it started up regularily, but now it's taking 3 weeks and she's still getting brown discharge down there, it'll be time for her next one to start soon and she's gnna go see a gyno and is worried about it has this ever happened to anyone else is it serious?

I've never experienced this before, have heard of some people who had it. It could just be an irregular period, which is caused by anything, from stress to some medications, if your friend is taking any that might affect her period. You should tell your friend to go to gyno just to make sure nothing else is going on.
