Depression? - April 7th 2013, 11:06 PM

I don't know where to put this so feel free to move it..

I have anorexia so I don't know if these are just the symptoms that go along with that.. I've only recently been diagnosed and I don't talk about it much so I"m not too sure.

Well, I find myself feeling very uncomfortable sometimes. Just randomly I will become very uncomfortable and restless. It's really distressing. I find it is way worse if I'm in a bad mood. Like if I've been home all day, not doing much, I will get up and walk around even and I can't shake that feeling. Sometimes I will cry because it makes me so frustrated and upset. I just don't know what to do with myself when that happens. I feel like I need to do something but at the same time I really don't want to. I just feel genuinely sad.

I've heard of depressive episodes and I'm not sure if this could be one? Restless leg syndrome runs in my family but this isn't in my legs, I know the difference. Could this possibly be depression?

Depriving your body of food causes a hell of a lot of weird shiz, and this sounds. Incredibly familiar. I got it a lot in recovery too and it was awful. Horrible, isn't it? Distraction helped me, as did sleep, as did going for a walk with music.

Sorry I can't be much help, but yeah, this happened to me, so you aren't alone, and I'd take a guess at it being because of your eating disorder.

Hang in there gorgeous <3

Take as long as you need.
