Causes of dizziness? - April 21st 2013, 11:27 AM

It started yesterday. I was in bed, I turned over and felt dizzy. After about a minute I was fine, and didn't think anything of it as I was fine for the rest of the day too.

But this morning, I felt really dizzy in bed, especially when I turned over. I also felt quite warm, and my lips were dry and I felt thirsty. I hardly slept last night and I felt kind of sick as well. This morning, I forced myself to get up, but I took my time. My heart was racing and my breathing was faster and shallower. I also felt quite clammy and shaky and felt like my stomach just dropped. I'm guessing that part was me panicking since I've never had episodes of dizziness before, but I have had possible panic attacks years ago. I haven't slept well recently and have been quite stressed. I'm not pregnant and I don't do any drugs. I don't whether this is caused by anxiety/stress or if it's something else. I read online that dizziness can be some sort of inner ear problem. I hope it's not that. I listen to music a lot, but it's my escape because I find my life to be stressful

I have bouts of dizziness.

It can be caused by tiredness. Sleep deprivation.

Lack of hydration..

Its not actually an EAR problem..Infact, you may of had a bad night sleep?

maybe a uncomfortable pillow?

IF you still get them, PM/VM me <3. <3

As stated above, it can be caused by dehydration. It can also be caused by anxiety, and eating disorders also cause dizziness.

I hope you feel better soon

Another thing is- if you sleep on your neck wrong and you tweak it (or your back), that can cause a bit of diziness. Especially if it happens when you turn to one side.

You could have low blood pressure.
How's your diet?
Hydration is another factor.
Plus, if you're getting sick that could explain it.

But if it persists, I would contact a doctor ASAP.

Feel better soon!
