Woke up with hurt foot - June 6th 2013, 02:47 PM

I haven't posted something in a while, but I'm curious to read other people's responses. Before I do that, I'm in another country with my girlfriend who just happen to have a public healthcare system, so there's a possibility that I'll be going to the doctor soon to have them figure it out. So I probably will be going to the doctor if it doesn't get better real soon.

Yesterday I woke up in minor pain in my foot. When I stood up, I felt a rush of pain go to my foot and I realized that something is wrong. It hurts to put weight on my foot and especially hurts when I try to move my foot in different directions. It hurts more to move my foot left and right than it does up and down granted it still hurts both ways.

I took it easy yesterday, propping my foot up, putting some kind of heating cream on it and finishing the day downing 3 Advil PM that I brought. I woke up today and I don't even know if I feel better because the pain and discomfort is still there along with the pain I get from trying to walk and whatnot.

My question is...has anyone ever woke up and their foot hurt like that? What could I have possibly done during the night that could cause my foot to hurt? I did an inspection on my skin and there's nothing that looks out of the ordinary. What the hell?

Hey Brandon,

Yes I have had my foot hurt as soon as I woke up but that was when I was younger. Anyway maybe you might have twisted your leg while sleeping that what happened to one of my friends. Is your leg still hurting, if it is I would advice you to go to the doctors or to A&E to get your foot x-ray. Have you tried putting ice on your foot to reduce the pain.
