SO. My mom told me that if I want to, I can ask my doctor about getting this skin tag I have removed.

I never knew you could get them removed until today so I'm like yes, awesome! I hate the stupid thing, I've had it for years and it makes me feel insecure.

So I'm going to ask her. But just wondering, I'm assuming they have to cut it off or something, right? Does it hurt? And what's the chance of it growing back/me getting more? My mom said that I was pretty young to have one but I've had it for YEARS. I dunno if that means something for me later in life?

As far as them coming back, i'm not sure. There's this gel-type stuff i've seen on tv that apparently removes them pain free though. If the doctors have something similar then it definitely won't be painful. If anything they'll probably give you something to numb the area before they remove them. So hopefully either way it wont hurt no matter what. Wish I could have answered things more and better but at least I gave you some info.

I could be completely off base here. But it seems like one of my parents had a skin tag removed a few years ago, and the doctor used this spray stuff to freeze it off or something. I think they said that it hurt for a moment, but not much after that.

My dad also cut off a skin tag on his own once using nail clippers...and I know for a fact that that hurt.

Anyway. I'd have your mom call your doctor and ask about the procedure, just to get an idea of what will happen and if/how much it will hurt. And of course, if you really want the skin tag gone, it'll be worth it either way. After all, nothing they can do could possibly hurt worse than cutting off a skin tag with fingernail clippers.

Moroccan oil is one of the most popular cosmetic products on the market. it has been called the latest "miracle ingredient" by the New York Times. Many companies are making products using oil, such as makeup, facial cream, body lotion, body wash, shampoo, conditioner and other hair care products. Pure and organic Moroccan argan oil are the keys to effectiveness of these products. Moroccan oil is reportedly great for hair, skin and nails because of its extremely high content of amino acids, antioxidants, and vitamin E.

This is a UK site but the information on removing skin tags is still relevant: http://www.nhs.uk/conditions/skin-ta...roduction.aspx

Pretty much the same way warts are removed. I used to have one kind of around my shoulder I think, but I can't seem to find it now so I guess it just fell off or something. It's definitely worth taking a look at if it's affecting your self esteem.

PS. You're beautiful anyway so don't let a little bit of skin let you feel any less so.

Ugh, I've had two for years too. They are near my armpit so never really been too bothered by them, but I'd like them gone. Think I'll check in stores from some removal stuff, not that I'm thinking about them.
