Question Err Question about down there... - October 30th 2013, 02:44 PM

Ok so after my first well womans check up I was told i had a little yeast infection down there...So i did the monistat thing drank about two times my weight in cranberry juice and it cleared up....

Now down the line I haven't had one in awhile but I still have an odor but theres no itch...

Could be yeast or bacterial. I'd go get it checked out as it can travel further into your body if you don't get it treated if it is indeed an infection.

Also, take a look at what type of soap you are using. Is it perfumed?

I would recommend a trip to the doctors to make sure it has in fact cleared up. It might have looked like it because you drank the juice but I think it's best to double check it in case.

I agree with going to get another check up to make sure.
Also, vaginas don't like soap at all, warm water will suffice.

i always use vinegar if i get a yeast infection. you put a few cups of vinegar into a bath and sit in it for 20-30 minutes. works like a charm for me.

Ew, that might get a bit smelly though!

But yeah, I agree with the others. With those kinds of things it's better to just go to the doctor's to prevent worse...
