Question Help!! - January 5th 2014, 12:28 AM

Help!! I don't know If I'm sick or not. I woke up feeling fine, but, at around 2:00, I started getting bad diarrhea. At around 3, I got very severe lower back pain. It was very sharp (ladies, think of period cramps on steroids). The pain got so bad that I started to feel nauseous . The flu has been going around at my house, so just in case, my mom I'd quarantining me in my bedroom. It is now 5:30 and my pains are coming on and off. My diarrhea know has some blood in it. Please tell me what is wrong!!

P.s. Sorry for the tmi

Hey there,

I'm sorry to hear you haven't been feeling so well. What I would advice you to do is get some rest and one of the cures I know to diarrhea is to drink plenty of fluids and maintain a simple diet for a while until you start feeling better.

I would recommend that you eat things such as bread, cereal, soup, juice, etc. By going on a fairly simple diet, your body will start to feel a lot better and recover. However since I'm not a doctor or any medical professional, I could be wrong on what I'm about to say next. This could be symptoms of the flu or some viral infection based on what you're saying about the pain and stuff.

What I would advise you to do is take plenty of rest and drink tons of fluids. Obviously, if things aren't getting better, you should definitely see a doctor about this. I hope this helps and hope you feel better soon!

Hey, so having blood in the stool is sometimes a sign of some serious intestinal issues, on the other hand it could just be from the diarrhea. I think you should go see a doctor if you can, just to be safe
