Itchy throat and top of mouth. -

The top of my mouth and my throat really itches and its been like this for about a month/three weeks now, its really starting to irritate me. At times even the inside of my ears itch, or rather right behind them. And when its at its worst it feels like the whole inside of my head is itching and I can't do anything about it.
Mum thinks its because of the ferrets, but I've had them for almost a year now, why would the allergies from them start now? I've also never been really affected during the allergy season or really much any time of the year. Most I've every been affected was a bad case of the sneezes. Anyone have any idea whats causing it or what I can do to make it stop? I feel like I'm going insane. "For is it not death nor dying that I fear. But lack of life and purpose."

I used to get that some times, but then i started taking zyrtec (you can get a generic from your pharmacy for cheaper ) and it hasn't happened sence!

Hi,
This definitely sounds like indoor/outdoor allergies. I have severe allergies, and the most annoying symptom is the itching that seems to be everywhere. Even if you haven't had problems in the past, it is still possible that you developed new allergies. Perhaps there is a type of pollen out that you are not accustomed to? If you cannot see a doctor, I would suggest trying over-the-counter Zyrtec or Claritin. Other than that, use Q-tips to rub the insides of your ears; I have also found that carbonated drinks help with the itchiness in my throat, so maybe give that a try. Take care. [/url]
