Help please - November 1st 2016, 12:29 AM

Uhhh. Tring to sleep but so tired. please if you have any idea on helping pain from a uti let me know? I'VE taken painkillers, ate cucumber, drank lots of water and have a hot water bottle. Apparently these things help.

Any ideas? be aware it's gone midnight and I don't have stuff in so in a crisis 😣😣

Have you tried drinking cranberry juice or taking cranberry pills? I have heard that drinking cranberry juice or taking cranberry pills helps with uti's, but I don't know how true that is. It doesn't hurt to try either of those two things.

I know you cant get them tonight but when ever I have a uti and can't get to the doctors for a couple of days I take AZO it helps with the burning while peeing, the aching blatter, feeling like you have to pee every 2 minutes. But I would def go to the doctors soon

Just be true to who you are

Sometimes you need antibiotics for these things. I do that once because I had a UTI that wouldn't clear up and it started hurting all the way up where my kidneys are, whickimd of suggested to me that the infection was spreading so I went to see my doctor and they gave me antibiotics.

Feel free to PM me if you ever need to chat or have questions

Re: Help please - November 3rd 2016, 05:34 PM

It still burns, have stomach pains, stings when I do go and I am in so much pain.

HOWEVER, I did a urine sample today and the GP has already rung back to say she has a prescription for anti-bitoics because it is a UTI. So hopefully they will work!

Thank you all!

Depending on how bad it is, go see a doctor and get the antibiotics. Much less of a hassle in the long run. Otherwise, I second that cranberry juice, has worked for me in the past!

Since you've been to the doctors, got a diagnosis and prescription for antibiotics, I'll go ahead and close the thread. Feel free to PM me to re-open the thread though, or create a new one
