I have hair on my arms but they are so thin and light that nobody but me notices them at a certain angle. I think it's important you continue to maintain it through shaving. I certainly don't think you're a weirdo; a lot of women grow hair in unusual places and have to shave every few days.

I know people who shave it. It's not necessary but it won't hurt you.

I have a friend who would occasionally shave their arms....usually around Halloween so they could wear a particular costume.

There are a lot of people that shave their arms and as stated it isn't necessary. But, if you do it you will likely have to maintain it for a very long time or you might find that the hair annoys you more.

My grandma shaved her upper lip area at one point and after that she had to do it all the time or else the hair would appear to come in darker and there would be more. I mean, I honestly don't know if that happens with everyone but it was an issue for my grandma and she said that she wished she hadn't made the choice to do that.

I've known quite a few people to shave their arms. Hair doesn't grow back thicker or darker due to shaving, however the hair will be more blunt which can make it appear thicker or darker.

I'm one of those "Weirdos". In other words, I shave my arms I took a lot of my dads traits, and having dark hair (including leg and arm hair) is one of the amazing things I inherited *sarcasm*

So, I do shave my arms, I usually do them once a week to once every two weeks. It's not bad for you, the only issue is sometimes it grows in darker, so once you start, you can't really stop.
