I don't think cold meds interact with Psych meds. My question is do you know for sure that they will react badly to the cold Medicine? If not then I would take tylonal cold and flu(That shouldn't react with any type of med.) I would also do cough drops and throat lousagers sine I'm pretty sure those don't interact with any Psych Medication.

I hope you feel better soon.

The best thing to do is to call the doctor who prescribed your psych meds and ask them what cold medicine you can take safely. I know that I can't have dextromethorphan which is in most cold medicines and even cough drops. I asked mine and he just told me to avoid anything with that in it, but didn't give me any alternatives. Hopefully, your's will be more help.

I agree with the other responses to check with your doctor. You might also want to look into alternatives that can help. For example, some people find it helpful to lean over a bowl with boiling water with a towel around them to inhale the steam and decongest their sinuses.

Hope you feel better soon!
