Hey there,

Sorry to hear you are experiencing loss of appetite due to depression.

Do you experience food as bland or have a craving for sweet things? If you do, you can try to encourage yourself to eat by eating things that you do like or want to eat. You can also try foods that you don't usually eat just for a change.

Another thing to mention is that with loss of appetite, we may struggle to eat all of our meals like we usually do. So perhaps have smaller, more frequent meals or eat half of your meal and than eat some more later on, rather than trying to force yourself to eat like you used to.

It's also important that you treat your depression too, whether that's with medication, therapy, lifestyle changes or a combination of these things. With time and treatment, your appetite should come back.

Loss of appetite is a damn harmful thing because it`s just a first syndrome of a bigger threat which may come later, please try not to surrender to your depression
