Dry patches? - April 11th 2019, 11:30 PM

So I have dry patches on my breasts, and a few of them are a brownish red. I plan on seeing a doctor about them, but I was wondering if anyone here has experienced the same thing. They sort of feel like scales almost, like a dry skin. I put lotion on them hoping it would help but it hasn't.

Re: Dry patches? - April 12th 2019, 07:22 PM

I've often had dry and slightly reddish looking patches on different places on my body. They tend to go away on their own with a bit of time, but I've found moisturizing can help.

If it's caused by skin irritation then there could be many factors at play such as heat/sweat rash, material of your underwear or tops, the type of washing detergent you use, or the soap/bodywash that you use. Or it could be a skin condition such as eczema.

It's good that you are going to the doctors about this. I hope that they can give you a treatment that works for you

I have those on my arms which is eczema, which is one of the conditions that has been mentioned. The other thing it could be is stretch mark irritation. Have you been quickly losing and gaining weight? It doesn't have to be much, but enough that it affects the severity of the stretch mark. At least, this is what I experience around my stomach.

They are still there. And now they're multiplying. I'm scared I see the doctor first thing tomorrow morning, I'm hoping it's nothing.
