Face, scalp/hair, and neck sweat?

I sweat a lot on my face, scalp/hair, and neck. It's disgusting. When I say a lot, I mean my hair is soaked and I am dripping. It's absolutely HUMILIATING, especially at work when my boss saw and got me a fan (not in a mean way). Does this happen to any of you and what do you do to help control the sweat? My armpits are pretty much fine. My shirt doesn't show sweat or anything like that. But then there's my face, scalp/hair, and neck.

Hi. I sweat an awful lot, I suffer from hyperherihydrosis (excessive sweating) and for me I will sweat everywhere including my head/hair, scalp, face etc, I have found that having shorter hair helps keep the sweat off my neck etc, I have also found applying talc/baby powder to my hair helps abit too, I apply it in the morning and just like brush the baby powder through my hair and it helps a little bit, have you thought about wearing a sweat/sports band on one of your wrists so that when you get a sweaty face you can wipe it away with the sports/sweat band?

I don't tend to sweat a lot on my face, neck, or scalp unless I'm doing extremely intense exercise. However, I do have a tendency to sweat a lot more on my right underarm than on my left. :nosweat: It's not very pleasant at all. Especially when I've barely done what feels like much of anything. I can get a little bit warm and suddenly... *sweat*.

With all of that said, I would definitely consider speaking to your doctor if you're feeling like you sweat too much. There could be endless possibilities such as hormone imbalance or even overactive sweat glands. Or maybe you're just the kind of person who has a genetic predisposition to sweat a lot in those locations.
