I need energy, but i only got 3 hours of sleep - June 29th 2009, 11:55 AM

So yeah, insomnia got the best of me last night, and the phone rang early this morning, and i couldn't go back to sleep. i'm lucky if i got 3 hours of sleep.

anyways, i'm going to a high energy event today( it's a dance workshop), and i don't wanna be all exhausted and that type of stuff.

What can i do for quick energy/lasting energy? or at least to survive the day?

Eat a good carb rich meal, it releases it's energy slowly rather than quickly; so avoid things like chocolate and stuff they only give you a short boost.

also fruit is supposed to be good for you in a case like that ive heard
