It could be due to a poor diet; for example - lack of iron causes anemia which in turn causes tiredness and lack of energy. Make sure you are getting a balanced diet so that you are getting enough nutrition in order for your body to function in the way that it is meant to.
If you suspect you could have an iron deficiency; ask your doctor to have a blood test done and if the results come back negative then you will need to take iron supplements.

You should be aiming to get 8 hours of sleep per day; anything more or less could cause some problems. Try to sleep at around the same time each day so that your body clock will be used to this and will automatically go to sleep at this time.

Good luck!

Paul, i'd suggest seeing a doctor if it continues. Try and force yourself into a regular sleep pattern.

I have been trying to get a sleeping pattern, but sometimes work stops this.
Glittermist, Seeing as how i'm vegetarian this could be part of the problem, although i thought i had a good diet, might just check myself

If you are a vegetarian you are most likely experiencing signs of an irod or b12 deficiency. I don't like meat and late last year I experienced the same symptoms which turned out to be a b12 deficiency due to the lack of meat in my diet. I suggest seeing a doctor very soon for a blood test as if either of these continues to go untreated they can turn into anemia.

Hm, your sleep pattern is pretty poor. Same with mine really, I've got these vitamin supplements I take, got them from boots a wee while back, I'll show you them the next time you're round, but basically, they've got iron, b12 and a whole load of others in a 1 a day tablet. That and enforcing a regular sleep pattern will probably help.
I feel awfully hypocritical in making this thread considering its 7:30 and I havn't slept yet...
