Lightheaded, nauseous, and a slight temperature. - January 21st 2009, 01:50 PM

I was sitting in class last night and I seriously thought that I was going to pass out. At the beginning of class, I got a metallic taste in my mouth. It kind of tasted like iron, but it only lasted for a minute or two. After awhile, I started feeling really lightheaded and like I had a temperature. I also felt kind of sick. Like... "Oh, dear, I think I'm going to hurl." kind of sick. And I felt sick pretty much all night last night. I couldn't sleep. I finally got up and drank some milk and ate a couple bites of applesauce and then finally went to sleep. The nauseous feeling went away.

I know it wasn't because I was hungry because I ate something right after class. I also had something to drink, so I also know that I wasn't dehydrated.

Edit- I forgot to add that I feel this way off and on. I've felt a little yucky for awhile today, but it comes and goes.

What ya' think?

Have you had a cold recently? I think it's called a head cold - you can't concentrate, you feel weird and you're near exhausted.

Sleep deprivation could also be to blame

Given the season and everything, it's also possible that you're just coming down with something.

If it doesn't go away within days time, consider a doctor's appointment.
