You should speak to a health professional about this. It's unhealthy and shouldn't go on.

I often have nights like that, and they really aren't good. Like Jessie said, it could really help to speak to your doctor about this. Also, try making yourself a night time routine before you try and sleep. Having that routine will help your body to know that it is time to sleep. The routine could involve having a warm bath, or warm drink for example. Also, it's important not to use a computer, or watch a film/the TV before you try and sleep as well. Doing things like that engage your senses, which make it harder to sleep. If you want to do something before bed try reading or listening to the radio instead. Hope this helps a little, even if it's to let you know you're not alone! :]

This isn't healthy, and should be examined by a doctor. You may just have horrible sleeping patterns or it may be a sign of insomnia.

i often have nights where i can't sleep, but not usually for days and days at a time. it might be as simple as something in your diet, and eh some people just naturally don't need as much sleep as others. i wouldn't be extremely worried about it, but if it continues and there are prolonged episodes like this you might want to think about asking your doctor if theres anything they can suggest.

Its a good idea for you to talk to your doctor about this. You could have something wrong, or if not, they will be able to give you something such as sleeping pills to help fix this problem.

I have nights where I can sleep until about 4am. I have found something that helps though... the sound of rain. I don't know why but for some weird reason the sound of rain calms me down and helps me sleep. Obviously it's not raining everynight so I brought a CD of the sound of rain which I play at night. Maybe you could try something like that? I dunno if it'll work for you. If not and you can't find anything else that will help you sleep, then I would go to the doctors and talk to them about it. They might even give you sleeping pills to help you sleep?

This is not healthy. Going days without sleep can lead to blackouts and many other problems. It can literally make you go insane. You need to see a doctor about this.

Is there no way you can get any sleeping pills at the local pharmacy or d'you have to go through your doctor first?
