Yes, definitely keep alternating between ice and heat for a few days. Don't leave either one of for more than 30 minutes at a time. It may not seem like it, but it DOES help the swelling go down faster.

i actually got them out when i was like 12, they werent grown in yet. They were growing crooked so they had to pull them out. It was more than just pulling them out, they had to put me to sleep slice open my gums and pull them out. Yeah, it wasnt to fun. I've also had both my canines pulled.

I got all four of mine surgically removed two years ago and it was pretty easy.
I went back to work two days later.
Did they not give you any painkillers?

I still have my wisdom teeth. The tops and one bottom has come in. They're crooked, but they don't bother me. Sometimes one of the tops will rub against the side of my face, and I'll bite it when I eat. Stays like that for about a week. My dentist said I wouldn't have to get them out unless they bothered me. The bottoms will more than likely have to be taken out because there's not room for them. I'm dreading it. My sister had her's out about a year ago. She looked miserable. I hope you feel better!

Oh I see.
I hope you feel better!!
I just kept telling myself (when I was awake lol) that this is it and you won't have to worry about them ever again.
Stay away from straws and if it gets worse contact your dentist/surgeon (whoever did it).

ice cream is a great thing to treat yourself to when your getting wisdom teeth. ^^
I remember mine...all 4 came through at roughly the same time..when I was 12... =O So yours is a good age to start getting wisdom teeth. ^^
