Mono?? - January 25th 2009, 11:27 PM

I know one of the symptoms for mono is a skin rash....
can anyone explain what that rash is like? looks like I mean??

Your best bet is to see a doctor, if you think a rash you have may be caused by mono. :]

the main symptom of mono is the swollen lymph nodes (i think). check it out on WebMD, but always see a doctor if you think its serious

A rash usually is one of the minor symptoms of mono. Mono is usually characterized by swollen lymphnodes, extreme tiredness/ low energy, and quite often a high fever. A rash usually only forms during mono due to the high fever and sore throat. See a doctor for proper diagnosis, though as a rash could be a result of some form or irritation or allergy.

Just for your curiosity a rash from mono is usually either custers of small red dots or large red splotches.
