Testicular Cancer - December 22nd 2009, 10:47 PM

Ok, so maybe 2 weeks ago? I discovered this weird lump on my groin(?), not on the testicles or anything. On the kind of triangle shaped area where your bits are 'housed'(lol). It feels a bit like a pimple, I had this pretty large one on the side of my leg not long ago and it feels like that. However, I tried to look and see if i could see any redness; like you usually get from a pimple. Can't see anything, even though it is pretty hard to see anything.(Not exactly too tidy)

Anyway, so this raised an alarm since I'm not really sure what to look for in terms of testicular cancer and this has been there a while now. Out of curiousity i checked for lumps on the testicles themselves and found something weird on the same side as this 'pimple'.(It might just be the skin? It's really hard to tell.) But I actually have no idea if this is unusual since I couldn't tell you if it was there before.

I read stuff on google and it said stuff about discomfort and pain. Which i feel none of, I'm trying to leave contacting a doctor as a last resort since i feel i might just be over reacting to what very might just be a pimple.

Help?

Thanks for putting up with me <.<

To me it sounds like an ingrown hair. You should be fine, but if it worries you I'd go to a doctor

90% of the time when you discover something that seems odd, it will be completely normal. But, there still is that very small chance that something could be up. I would suggest getting it checked out.
