Hey there,
It's good that you're starting to get your body into a pattern. I really don't have a regular sleeping pattern, as I go to bed and wake up at different times. After the holidays are over, i'm going to try setting times so that my body will get into a healthy sleep pattern and i'll feel more awake. Ps. I just moved your thread from Good Days to the General Health Forum just because I though it fit better here. Mods feel free to move it if you don't think it goes here. Thanks. :] Don't just exist...LIVE. |

I don't really have a set sleeping schedule. On weeknights, I go to sleep between ten and eleven at night and wake up around seven am. On weekends/holidays/summer, I go to sleep anywhere between 12am-4am, and sometimes not at all. Depending on when I went to sleep, I wake up any time between 7am-2pm.

My sleeping schedule is weird.
It depends on my mood and how I feel. For school I got to bed around eleven and get up at six. Weekends, breaks, or summer. I got to bed at like six and the morning and sleep all day. =P Pansexual. My sleeping pattern is crap! On weeknights i aim to go to bed around 10 buuut that never happens and i always stay up til 11.30. On weekends/holidays etc i'll go to bed whenever i feel like it tbh.
I don't know if it's just me buuuut the more sleep i get, the more sleepy i feel. The other night i went to bed at 8.30pm and woke up around 10.30am the next day and i felt EXHAUSTED! & it's just like she's in another world. [<3] |

I have a steady sleeping pattern so long as those who get up fairly early in my house aren't too loud! I usually sleep for 7 to 8 hours every night, with some exceptions.
Try to avoid any caffeine 6 hours before you go to bed, so, no cola, coffee, etc etc. Exercise in the morning can also help with your concentration and alertness throughout the day.

It all depends if I'm in night shift mode, or day mode. If I'm in day shift mode, I will go to bed anywhere from 10:30pm-1am, and be up for 7:30am. If I'm in night shift mode I will be up til 2am and sleep til 10.
So it really depends what I work. And I will take you in my arms, and hold you right where you belong. Til the day my life is through, this I promise you.121109 |

Ideally, I want to be awake until midnight and wake up at 8am, or be awake until 2 and wake up at 10. I like to sleep, but I don't like to sleep more on weekends because I don't sleep enough during the week.

During the summer and over breaks (like this one), I start out by going to bed around two and waking up around noon but my bedtime becomes later and later as time passes and I end up going to bed at 11am and sleeping until dinner haha.
When I'm at school, I usually go to bed around 4, wake up around 7:30 and sleep a lot during the day. If I don't have time, sometimes I'll just pull a bunch of all nighters and sleep over 16 hours on the weekends. I like your plan much better than my current arrangement, I should follow your lead!

When I'm at school, I'll try to go to bed before 11-12 and wake up at 7am. During holidays, I don't have a set time I go bed or wake up at.

For me... a sleeping pattern is nonexistent. I go to bed when I feel tired, I wake up when I don't. I don't really have any certain time that I go to bed anymore. Apparently that's unhealthy, but I don't really care much.
